Womenians Workplace Excellence Council™

Women-Centred Workplace Excellence
Womenians Workplace Excellence Council™ is an initiative of Womenians Empowerment Foundation focused on workplace excellence, employee experience, women-centred workplaces, leadership and organisational development. WWEC provides structured assessment, evidence review, certification and improvement pathways within defined scopes.
Start with a structured self-assessment that helps an organisation understand its current position, identify improvement opportunities and prepare for the WWEC certification process.

Co-powered and commercially operated by Question Digital+— A division of Question Techs Private LimitedCommercial services, contracts, invoices and payments relating to WWEC are undertaken through Question Techs Private Limited, as applicable. The WWEC Approach
Workplace excellence should be more than recognition. It should be something an organisation can demonstrate.
What can the organisation demonstrate?
Policies, governance structures, programmes, metrics, records and other material that show how workplace practices are defined, implemented and monitored.
What do people actually experience?
Lived employee experience captured through the WWEC Employee Experience Survey and other permitted evidence, reflecting how workplace practices land in reality.
Can the assessment and certification decision withstand scrutiny?
Defined assessment methodology, role separation, review controls, confidentiality, conflicts of interest and Council oversight that support credible decisions.
Why WWEC
WWEC provides a structured way to look beyond policy statements and understand how workplace practices are implemented, how employees experience them and where the organisation can improve.
WWEC is women-centred but workplace-wide. We place women's experience, progression, safety and leadership at the centre while recognising that the conditions affecting women are shaped by leadership, governance, culture, policies, managers, systems and everyday workplace behaviour.

Leadership accountability
WWEC translates workplace commitments into measurable indicators, so leadership teams can see where practice matches intent — and where it does not.
What WWEC Is Built On
The WWEC system is designed to assess, recognise and support ongoing workplace excellence — not to replace structured evaluation with a single score or one-off award.
A framework, not just a survey.
Evidence, not just perception.
Employee experience, not just leadership intent.
Core Position
Assessment, recognition and improvement — designed to last.
Assessment, not just participation.
Governance, not commercial influence.
Improvement, not just recognition.
Renewal, not a one-time badge.

Employee experience
The WWEC Employee Experience Survey captures lived experience under strict confidentiality and response-threshold rules, giving weight to the voices that policies are written for.
Global workplaces
WWEC provides a common workplace excellence architecture that can be applied across organisations, sectors and geographic contexts, subject to the applicable scope and certification requirements.
WWEC Workplace Excellence System™
The Index, the Employee Experience Survey, evidence review and certification are not separate exercises. They orbit a single question: is the workplace working for women in practice?
Diagram of the WWEC Workplace Excellence System™. The system sits at the centre. Three structural components feed into it — the WWEC Workplace Excellence Architecture™, WWEC Workplace Excellence Truth Map™ and WWEC Workplace Excellence Index™. A four-phase journey runs from assessment and evidence review, to WWEC Women-Centred Workplace™ Certification, to recognition as a WWEC certified workplace, to improvement and renewal, which loops back into the system.

MEASURE
An indicative self-assessment across the eight dimensions that establishes a structured starting position — where the workplace believes it stands, in its own words.
Recognition isn't the end of the journey.
WWEC connects assessment and recognition with improvement and renewal, helping workplace excellence become an ongoing discipline rather than a one-time achievement.

The eight WWEC Workplace Excellence Dimensions
The WWEC Workplace Excellence Architecture™ is the eight-dimensional structure used to understand women-centric workplace excellence: Safe & Respected; Fair & Included; Rise & Lead; Thrive & Balance; Grow & Belong; Govern & Deliver; Heard & Acted Upon; Prove & Progress. The dimensions are connected — a result in one may be influenced by leadership, governance, culture, systems and employee experience across several.
Dimension 01
Safety, Dignity & Freedom from Harm
A workplace where people can work without fear, harassment, humiliation, discrimination or retaliation.
Core question
Can people work, speak and raise concerns without fear?
Assessment focus
Respectful workplace behaviour; prevention and response to harassment; safe reporting; retaliation protection; dignity; fair handling of concerns.
WWEC Workplace Excellence Truth Map™
The WWEC Workplace Excellence Truth Map™ brings these perspectives together to identify alignment, gaps and opportunities for improvement.
What leaders intend.
What systems and evidence establish.
What people actually experience.
Trust & credibility
WWEC combines defined standards, evidence-led assessment, employee experience, controlled certification processes and documented governance to support credible workplace excellence outcomes.
Credibility does not depend on a single individual. WWEC operates through defined organisational responsibilities, Council governance, assessment controls, conflict-of-interest requirements and public verification.
Assessment is based on the WWEC Workplace Excellence Architecture™ and defined requirements — not subjective recognition.
Organisational evidence, employee experience and assessment findings are considered through the WWEC methodology.
Certification follows defined assessment, review and decision controls rather than being automatically awarded through participation or payment.
Defined Council roles support governance, standards, integrity and appropriate independent challenge.
Conflicts of interest, confidentiality, role separation, complaints and appeals are managed through defined controls.
Certification status, scope and validity can be independently checked through the WWEC verification record.
Accreditation status
WWEC is preparing for application for applicable NABCB accreditation. No NABCB accreditation claim is made unless and until accreditation is formally granted.
Integrity of certification
Organisations invest in participating in the WWEC assessment and certification process. Participation or payment does not guarantee certification.
Assessment, scoring and certification decision-making operate within defined roles and governance requirements designed to protect the integrity of the outcome.
Participation provides access to the process. Certification must be earned through it.
Measure the experience. Recognise what is working. Improve what matters.
The Council
The Womenians Workplace Excellence Council™ is structured around defined Council responsibilities. Council seats carry documented remits, appointment requirements and conflict-of-interest obligations designed to support consistency, accountability and appropriate independence.
Council governance and oversight
Standard and criteria stewardship
Assessment governance and quality
Evidence, confidentiality and integrity controls
Independent complaints and appeals role
External challenge and conflict-of-interest oversight
Council nominations
WWEC welcomes expressions of interest from qualified professionals who can contribute relevant expertise, sound judgement and independent perspective to Council governance.
How nominations are reviewed
Expressions of interest are reviewed against the requirements of the relevant Council seat. Appointment is subject to availability, eligibility, competence, independence, conflict-of-interest review and formal approval.
Boundary
Council membership is not a route to certification. Council Members must not participate in matters where their independence or impartiality could reasonably be affected.
Certification steps
Eight stages, one controlled route — from eligibility and enquiry through application, evidence, assessment, scoring, decision, verification and renewal. Every stage is documented, and certification decisions are made through the applicable controlled decision process in accordance with the certification scheme and governance controls.

Choose your path
The Index is the starting point. Certification is the controlled outcome. Both sit on the same framework, but they are not the same thing.
A structured self-assessment that helps an organisation understand its current position, identify improvement opportunities and prepare for a potential WWEC certification.
Take the IndexA formal certification process involving the applicable scope, eligibility, evidence, employee experience, assessment, scoring, review and controlled certification decision.
Understand CertificationTaking the Index does not mean an organisation is certified.
Common questions
Everything you need to know about starting with the self-assessment and what to expect if you choose to pursue certification.
After the self-assessment
Completing the self-assessment is the first step. If your organisation chooses to pursue certification, the eight-stage WWEC Certification Process moves through scope confirmation, evidence submission, employee experience, independent assessment, scoring, review and a controlled certification decision.

The certification mark
Every WWEC certificate carries a defined scope, validity period and public verification record — so recognition means something to employees, candidates and clients alike. The WWEC Women-Centred Workplace™ Certification mark may be used only within the approved scope and validity period.

Confirm an organisation's current certification status, scope and validity period.
Certification offerings
Choose the assessment package that fits your needs. The package determines the depth of assessment and support; certification is awarded only when the applicable requirements are met. WWEC Essential, WWEC Advanced and WWEC Excellence set the depth of assessment, insight and improvement support — while the WWEC Women-Centred Workplace™ Certification defines what is being certified.
Selecting or paying for a WWEC package does not guarantee certification. Packages define the applicable assessment, insight and support services. Certification is granted only when the organisation meets the applicable certification requirements through the controlled assessment, review and certification decision process.
