Application

Apply for Certification

Certification begins with a formal application that establishes the organisation's legal identity, the proposed certification scope and an authorised representative.

Application fee

Submitting a WWEC certification application is free of charge.

There is no application or registration fee for submitting an initial application for WWEC certification.

Following an initial review of the application and confirmation of the organisation's assessment scope, WWEC will issue the applicable assessment proposal and fee.

Submitting an application does not guarantee certification. Certification is awarded only after successful completion of the applicable assessment and certification decision process.

Before you apply

Three things happen before any formal application.

You are not expected to commit at first contact. Eligibility, scope and cost are settled first, in writing.

  1. STEP 01

    Eligibility check

WWEC confirms that the legal entity, workforce and intended scope fall within the certification requirements, and whether the organisation is ready to evidence them now or should start with the WWEC Workplace Excellence Index™.

  2. STEP 02

    Scope definition

You agree what is being certified — the entities, locations, business units and workforce populations included — because scope determines the evidence, the survey population and the assessment effort.

  3. STEP 03

    Written proposal

WWEC issues a proposal setting out the applicable package, fee, timeline, evidence requirements and payment terms. The formal application below is made only after you accept it.

Fees cover assessment and the services in the selected package. They never cover the certification outcome, which is decided independently by the Womenians Workplace Excellence Council™.

What you submit

Four requirements to open a file.

  1. STEP 01

    Legal identity

The registered legal entity applying for certification, including registration details and registered address.

  2. STEP 02

    Proposed scope

The entities, locations, business units and workforce populations to be included in the assessment.

  3. STEP 03

    Workforce information

Headcount, employment categories and workforce distribution relevant to the employee experience survey.

  4. STEP 04

    Authorised representative

A named individual authorised to submit evidence, accept terms and receive the certification decision.

What happens next

Eligibility, agreement and preparation.

WWEC reviews whether the applicant and proposed scope are eligible. On acceptance, the organisation receives the assessment plan, evidence requirements and employee survey instructions.

Submitting an application does not create a certification, an entitlement to certification, or any right to use the WWEC Certification Mark.
