Certification
WWEC Women-Centred Workplace™ Certification is a structured, evidence-based certification process for organisations seeking to demonstrate workplace excellence within a defined scope. The WWEC Women-Centred Workplace mark
Certified organisations receive the WWEC Women-Centred Workplace mark with the applicable certification year. The mark may be used only within the approved scope and validity period, and every mark is backed by a public verification record.
Why certify with WWEC
WWEC provides a structured way to look beyond policy statements and understand how workplace practices are implemented, how employees experience them and where the organisation can improve.
Eligibility & scope
An organisation may apply for WWEC Certification where it can meet the following conditions.
Scope may include an entire organisation, a defined business unit, a defined country or region, a defined location group, or another controlled scope approved by WWEC. WWEC may decline or defer an application where the proposed scope cannot be reliably assessed, required evidence cannot reasonably be obtained, or another condition specified by the applicable Certification Scheme is not met.
Independence & impartiality
WWEC assessment activities are performed objectively under documented impartiality controls.

The process
Application and eligibility, scope agreement, evidence submission, the employee experience survey, assessment, scoring, the certification decision, then issue, verification and renewal.
Fees
Submitting a WWEC certification application is free of charge. There is no application or registration fee; the applicable fee is issued in a proposal once the assessment scope is confirmed.
Timeline
Stage durations run from the point each stage opens and depend on scope, evidence readiness and survey participation. Your confirmed timeline is issued in the written certification plan.
What the assessment covers
Every dimension is examined against the same four tests — existence, implementation, consistency and effect — using policy, process, practice and outcome evidence together with employee experience results.

Certification
Certification follows a documented eight-stage journey with defined requirements, evidence and controlled decision-making.
