Scoring Methodology
For each applicable indicator, the assessor records a score from 0 to 4 and documents the evidence supporting that score.
Scoring scale
From not demonstrated to leading.
Not evident
No documented practice or evidence available.
Emerging
Intent stated; practice inconsistent or undocumented.
Developing
Practice documented but partially implemented.
Established
Implemented consistently with monitoring in place.
Leading
Embedded, measured, reviewed and continuously improved.
Minimum per dimension
No dimension may fall below the floor threshold.
Certification threshold
An overall score of at least 70%, together with the applicable dimension floor, mandatory-criterion requirements and completion of the required assessment, review and certification decision process.
Distinction band
Leading practice across the majority of dimensions.

Calculation
The dimension score is calculated as the average of applicable indicator scores divided by 4 and multiplied by 100. The overall certification score is the equal-weighted average of the eight applicable dimension scores, unless a formally approved version of the controlled certification scheme expressly defines another calculation. The current approved scheme version shall govern.

Certification decision threshold
- Overall score of at least 70%
- A minimum average of 50% in every applicable dimension
- No unresolved mandatory criterion failure
- Completion of the required assessment and certification decision process
A numerical score does not automatically create a certification decision. Mandatory criteria, material findings, scope, evidence sufficiency and the authorised decision process remain controlling requirements. Alignment findings support interpretation of results and improvement priorities. They do not alter the numerical score.
