Request Your WWEC Certification Plan

Tell us about your organisation and the package you are considering. WWEC will return a certification plan covering pathway, scope, timeline and the applicable offering.

Certification plan timeline

What happens, and when

  1. 01

    Plan request acknowledged

Application response — typically 2 working days for plan requests.

  2. 02

    Certification plan and proposal issued

Your plan states the applicable package, indicative fee band, scope assumptions and timeline. A WWEC proposal is valid for 15 calendar days.

  3. 03

    Formal application reviewed

Application response 2 business days, with eligibility confirmed within a further 3 business days, after you accept the proposal.

  4. 04

    Evidence submission window

20 business days for evidence submission and review, agreed in the assessment plan.

  5. 05

    Employee experience survey window

Typically 2 to 3 weeks, run inside the evidence window and extended where the response threshold has not been met.

  6. 06

    Assessment, scoring and certification decision

Assessment 10 business days, scoring 3 business days and the certification decision 3 business days. Typical pathway to certification completion is 3–5 weeks.

  7. 07

    Certificate issued

Verification and certificate issue within 3 business days of a positive certification decision.

  8. 08

    Renewal notification

Certification is valid for one year. Renewal notification is sent 90 days before the expiry date.

These dates are realistic planning expectations calculated from the published WWEC indicative timings, not guaranteed service levels. Actual timing depends on scope, evidence readiness and survey participation, and the final timeline is confirmed in your written certification plan. A confirmed timeline is not a certification decision.

A certification plan sets out the applicable package, indicative fee band, scope assumptions and timeline. It is not an invoice, a certification decision or an entitlement to certification. Fees cover assessment and the services in the selected package; certification is granted only where the applicable requirements are met through the controlled assessment, review and certification decision process.
