WWEC Workplace Excellence Index™
Index Methodology
The WWEC Workplace Excellence Index™ turns individual statement responses into an overall score and eight dimension scores, using a controlled, consistent scoring model.
Response scale
Each response is converted to a numeric value.
| Response | Value |
|---|---|
| Strongly Disagree | 0 |
| Disagree | 25 |
| Neither Agree nor Disagree | 50 |
| Agree | 75 |
| Strongly Agree | 100 |
| Not Applicable / I Don’t Know | Excluded from scoring |
From statements to dimensions
Dimensions are averaged equally.
Each of the eight dimensions of the WWEC Workplace Excellence Architecture™ is built from a set of statements. A dimension score is the average of its applicable statement values, and ‘Not Applicable / I Don’t Know’ responses are excluded rather than counted as neutral.
Overall score
One WWEC Workplace Excellence Score, drawn from eight equal dimensions.
The overall Index score is calculated by combining the eight dimension scores. The result also identifies a strongest dimension, a priority improvement dimension and a workplace maturity band, alongside a personalised narrative summary.
The WWEC Workplace Excellence Index™ is a self-assessment tool. It does not constitute WWEC certification, audit, accreditation or legal-compliance assessment. Formal certification, where applicable, follows the requirements of the relevant WWEC certification scheme and its own Scoring Methodology.
