This glossary provides plain-language explanations of frequently used WWEC workplace excellence, assessment and certification terminology.

Terms and what they mean.
Assessment
A structured process used to evaluate applicable requirements using defined assessment methods and evidence.
Certification
Formal confirmation following assessment, review and an authorised certification decision that applicable certification requirements have been satisfied within the approved certification scope.
Certification Decision
The authorised decision to grant, maintain, change, suspend, withdraw or otherwise determine certification status in accordance with applicable requirements.
Employee Experience
The experience and perceptions of employees in relation to relevant workplace practices, conditions and interactions.
Evidence
Information used to demonstrate or evaluate whether applicable workplace or certification requirements are implemented and supported.
WWEC Workplace Excellence System™

WWEC Workplace Excellence Architecture™
The structural framework through which WWEC organises its workplace excellence dimensions and indicators.
