About WWEC
About the council.
Womenians Workplace Excellence Council™ is a workplace excellence initiative focused on structured assessment, employee experience, organisational evidence, women-centred workplaces, certification, recognition and continuous improvement.
WWEC assesses workplace practices and experience through defined dimensions, indicators, evidence requirements and assessment methods within the applicable WWEC framework or certification scope.

The WWEC Workplace Excellence Index™ is a structured assessment and insight tool designed to help organisations understand their workplace excellence position across the WWEC dimensions.
No. The WWEC Workplace Excellence Index™ is an assessment and insight tool. It does not constitute WWEC Women-Centred Workplace™ Certification.
Certification
Certification.
WWEC Women-Centred Workplace™ Certification is WWEC's flagship workplace certification. Certification is based on the applicable certification scheme, assessment requirements, organisational evidence, employee experience where applicable, scoring, review and certification decision requirements.
No. Participation in or payment for an assessment process does not guarantee certification. Certification is granted only where the applicable certification requirements and decision criteria are satisfied.
No. WWEC Essential, WWEC Advanced and WWEC Excellence define the applicable depth of assessment, insight and improvement support. The certification being assessed remains WWEC Women-Centred Workplace™ Certification.
WWEC Women-Centred Workplace™ Certification is valid for one year from the applicable certification decision date, subject to the conditions of certification and the current approved certification scheme.
Accreditation
Accreditation status.
WWEC is preparing for the applicable NABCB accreditation process. WWEC does not claim NABCB accreditation, endorsement or recognition unless and until the applicable accreditation is formally granted.
Complaints & appeals
Complaints and appeals.
Complaints may be submitted through the designated WWEC complaint process available under Trust & Governance.
Eligible certification-related decisions may be appealed through the applicable WWEC appeals process and within the period specified in the current approved procedure.
Unless expressly identified as a controlled certification document, WWEC resources and guidance materials are informational and do not replace the applicable current approved certification requirements.
