Recognition

WWEC Workplace Journeys

Case-led recognition of real workplace transformation — told through the evidence gathered before, during and after improvement, not a single point-in-time score.

What this recognises

Movement, not a moment.

WWEC Workplace Journeys document how an organisation's workplace evidence changes over time — from an initial baseline, through defined improvement actions, to a later re-assessment.

  • A documented starting point, drawn from an organisation's earliest qualifying WWEC assessment.
  • The improvement actions the organisation took in response to that assessment.
  • A later assessment showing what changed, supported by the same evidence categories used throughout.

Eligibility

Who can be featured.

WWEC Workplace Journeys can be told only where there is a real, evidenced before-and-after — not a narrative built around intentions alone.

  • The organisation holds at least two qualifying WWEC assessments, separated by a genuine improvement period.
  • The organisation consents to its evidence being used, at the level of detail agreed, for a public case study.
  • Any commercial relationship between WWEC and the organisation is disclosed alongside the journey.

How a journey is documented

From baseline to sustained improvement.

  1. 01

    Baseline assessment

The organisation's earliest qualifying WWEC assessment establishes the starting evidence position.

  2. 02

    Improvement period

The organisation acts on assessment findings over a defined period, with actions documented as they occur.

  3. 03

    Re-assessment

A later WWEC assessment gathers comparable evidence, allowing genuine, like-for-like comparison against the baseline.

  4. 04

    Published journey

WWEC publishes the journey with the evidence basis for each stage, clearly separated from any certification or ranking decision.

Publication cycle

Published as journeys complete, not on a fixed calendar.

Because WWEC Workplace Journeys depend on a genuine improvement period between two assessments, journeys are published as they are completed and verified, rather than in a single fixed release.

Get involved

Start the journey with an assessment.

WWEC Workplace Journeys begin with a qualifying WWEC assessment. If your organisation is at the start of its improvement path, certification or the Index is the place to begin.

WWEC Workplace Journeys are case studies of evidenced change and are not themselves a certification or a ranking position.

In practice

Progress is a sequence, not a single decision.

Journeys show how organisations move from first diagnostic through evidence-building, assessment and continual improvement.
