Trust & Governance — Certification Integrity

Suspension & Withdrawal

Certification status is conditional. Where the applicable requirements are no longer satisfied, certification may be suspended, reduced in scope or withdrawn.

Grounds and process

When certification may be suspended or withdrawn.

Certification may be suspended, reduced in scope or withdrawn where the applicable certification requirements or certification conditions are no longer satisfied, or where other defined grounds for suspension or withdrawal apply.

Where applicable, organisations are provided with information concerning the reason, applicable process and requirements for restoration or re-certification.

During suspension or following withdrawal, use of applicable certification claims and marks shall be controlled in accordance with the current Certification Mark Rules.

Where a website summary differs from the current approved controlled certification document, the current approved controlled document shall govern.

Certification status must stay accurate.

Public certification status is maintained so that certification claims can be checked.
