WWEC Founding Workplace Cohort 2026–27

30 Organisations. One Founding Cohort.

A Higher Standard for Workplace Recognition. WWEC is inviting up to 30 selected organisations to participate in the inaugural Founding Workplace Cohort. For selected organisations, participation and assessment fees will be fully sponsored by WWEC.

The question

Can your organisation demonstrate workplace excellence for women?

Policies describe what an organisation intends. On their own, they do not show how those commitments are implemented or how employees actually experience the workplace. WWEC examines all three.

The WWEC approach

Intent → Reality → Experience

01

Intent

What has the organisation committed to?
02

Reality

What can it demonstrate through evidence and implementation?
03

Experience

What do employees actually experience?

What the process examines

Evidence, experience and governed assessment.

The founding cohort follows the same WWEC certification process as every other organisation. The full approved method is set out on the methodology page.

  1. 01Organisational Evidence
  2. 02Employee Experience
  3. 03Assessment
  4. 04Review
  5. 05Independent Certification Decision

The founding cohort

Sponsored access. Unchanged standard.

  • Up to 30 selected organisations.
  • Participation and assessment fees fully sponsored by WWEC.
  • The standard, the process and the basis for the outcome are unchanged.
  • Selection does not guarantee certification.

Payment, sponsorship or fee waiver has no influence on certification assessment, scoring, review or decision.

Who should consider applying

Organisations that…

  • Want to understand how workplace commitments translate into evidence and employee experience
  • Are prepared to participate seriously in an evidence-based process
  • Are willing to identify strengths and improvement opportunities
  • Value credible workplace recognition

What participants receive

Within the authorised process.

  • A structured certification journey
  • Organisational evidence review
  • An employee-experience component
  • A governed assessment process
  • A certification decision through the authorised WWEC governance process
  • A certificate and public verification record — only if certification is awarded
  • Improvement insights, as applicable under the authorised process

An important distinction

We are sponsoring access to the process. We are not giving away the outcome.

Selection into the Founding Workplace Cohort does not guarantee certification. Certification must be earned through the applicable WWEC assessment, review and independent certification-decision process.

Workplace Excellence. Earned Through Evidence.
