Trust & Governance — Accreditation & Standards

Accreditation & Standards

WWEC develops and operates its certification framework with reference to applicable international and national conformity-assessment requirements and the requirements of the applicable certification scheme.

Reference requirements

Standards considered in the accreditation pathway.

For workplace certification activities, ISO/IEC 17065 is the principal conformity-assessment standard being considered for the applicable certification-body accreditation pathway.

The applicable NABCB requirements, policies, procedures and scheme-suitability requirements are also considered as part of the accreditation preparation process.

References to standards or accreditation requirements do not mean that WWEC or a certified organisation is accredited or certified against those standards unless expressly stated and formally granted.

Referenced, not claimed.

WWEC states plainly which requirements guide the scheme and which status has actually been granted.
